Blog #4 (face value)

On Friday, My teacher, Mr. Anderson (name has been been blocked for his safety) asked us to write down something that a teacher told us in the past 24 hours that I accepted as a fact. I personally had problems with this part, mainly, because I'm in an epic battle against a cold virus that has been going around lately. But Mr. Anderson was nice and let my pick anyone in the past week that some one told me yadda yadda yadda. So I picked the time I was texting my dad, asking for an update to a football game that I really wanted to watch, but couldn't because I was at a friends house. My dad told me that the team that I was wanting to win, lost 28-23. I obviously took this at face value, and was sort of depressed from the loss. Since I took it at face value, and didn't actually know that they lost or not, I asked a couple people if they did lose, and all of them said yes. I then went onto the website of the team, and it also said that they lost. After all the information that I had received, I would have to say that I know that the team I was wanting to win, lost 28-23.

Hmmm. I wonder what team you could possibly be talking about? I mean, nobody has ANY idea what your favourite team is.
